The Gallery is a new event and wedding venue nestled into the beautiful Cotswold countryside. It consists of the renovation of an existing barn and stable and the construction of an innovative new 120 seat reception venue. It is designed to offer a balance between traditional and contemporary architecture with a sweeping rooftop garden that links the existing Cotswold stone structures with the surrounding landscape.

The design of The Gallery is conceived as a series of unfolding spaces which reveal themselves over time, each orientated around a central courtyard formed from a new stone wall sympathetically designed to blend with the existing forms. The first space is the traditional barn which will be lovingly renovated to reveal the timber roof structure and will be used as the main ceremony space. The existing stable will be renovated to house a series of back of house and support functions. The main reception venue is hidden behind the new courtyard wall and is revealed through a sliding barn door. As you enter this space you are greeted by a striking modern design with floor to ceiling glazing which reveals views over the valley beyond. The overhanging timber roof and decking provides a shaded terrace for drinks whilst further investigation of the site reveals the entrance to a hidden rooftop garden planted with native wildflowers, a perfect place to explore and enjoy the views of the countryside beyond.
