We're excited to announce that with support from @GloucesterCity, we are now accepting proposals for a spectacular launch for Kings Square.

If you have experience delivering large scale events & can wow #Gloucester read the brief and how to apply here: https://gloucesterculture.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Kings-Square-Launch-Project-Description-Brief-June2021.pdf

IN PROGRESS:

This is King’s Square in Gloucester. A special scheme that is in the works which features 739 (yes, that’s seven hundred and thirty nine) BESPOKE, carved magma granite blocks which will form part of a sculpture in the square, representing the #SevernBore…

Sometimes things need to get worse before they get better. New project starting on site today with repointing and repairs to an existing wall. The magic levitating stonework is really quite impressive.

👏Exciting...the first zone of granite is currently being installed over at #KingsSquareRegen. The feature has been designed by architects @GeorgeKingArch and based it around the world famous Severn Bore. 🌊 https://egcarter.co.uk/news/kings-square-granite-feature

The iconic Massive Attack album art for "100th Window" was a photoshoot involving 10 x 5ft glass human figures being exploded. The figures were made by a glassblower from Brixton & this was his last job before he retired.

Delighted to hear this news. It's a wonderful sign of commitment to #Gloucester city centre by @uniofglos which will add real value as the city centre evolves.

An interesting find on site this week. ⁦@EGCarterCoLtd⁩ uncovered some Roman ruins at our project in Gloucester. Amazing what you find once you start digging around! ⁦@GloucesterCity⁩ ⁦ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-56323337

It’s not often you come across Roman Ruins on the job but today our site team at King’s Square and students at @KingsSchoolGlos were lucky enough to have a glimpse at some of the pottery that was found. 🔎🏛🏺#KingsSquareRegen @GloucesterCity @Quattro_Design @TheForumDigital
